NUTS ABOUT MISSIONS
What is this all about you ask? well here's the story..
Myself and my husband Bert went on our first mission trip in 2002 to a gypsy village in Romania called Momia Valley to help build a school/church. With a heart for the children Bert returned back two years later to complete more work on the school and to visit other villages which were also in need.
In 2006 we both returned again but, with a little different look on things, the first time we were there we couldn't help but look at the poverty and the conditions of living and so wanted to give them everything because they literally have nothing, children having babies, mistreated women, stealing, abuse, it was unthinkable.. but to just give them money they would not learn to do for themselves they needed to be given opportunity to make money to support themselves..and to learn how to live, they needed to know that there was a purpose for their lives, and meaning something so much bigger than all of us. When we came back to Canada we fell back into our comfortable and busy life. A few years later an idea came to me to start a company called NUTS ABOUT MISSIONS...wasn't Jesus??
but once again "busy" took over and the idea just laid at the sidelines...I know that God always works things in His timing..I have been making chocolates for almost 16years and have made a great income and name for myself and my family except something just always seemed to be missing..I know that we all have talents and are blessed with gifts to be blessings to others..but how could making chocolates be a blessing to others?? We can't afford to go on mission trips all the time they are costly and with 3 children not something we can easily do..but, their are other missionaries..mission trips..organizations..churches..schools..who can and are doing projects.
We know first hand how hard it is to raise money to go on a mission trip or to get people to donate money, so let's sweeten the dealwith CHOCOLATES. NUTS ABOUT MISSIONS is our way to help you fundraise for your MISSION OR PROJECT.
